Aon Risk Solutions St. Louis is fully committed to the communities we serve. Aon colleagues are encouraged to participate in community service projects and contribute time, expertise, and funding to local organizations such as Haven House, Food Outreach and many more. Working together with our clients, we support causes that promote the health and well-being of local communities.
2015 Global Service Day
2014 Global Service Day
Global Service Day is Aon's annual promise to better the community and improve the lives of those around them. Each office partakes in a day of giving back to an organization that supports those in the surrounding areas. On June 12, Aon St. Louis colleagues supported two great local causes: Emily Linneman and Humanitri.
For Emily Linneman, a local teen who has been battling bone cancer, we held a fundraiser of sports memorabilia with a portion of proceeds going to Emily for a sports prosthetic leg.
We were also proud to support Humanitri, an organization focused on housing and human services for families and individuals in crisis with a goal to aid in long term stability and self-sufficiency. Through cash and goods donations from colleagues, our Aon St. Louis volunteers successfully cleaned, painted, and furnished a four bedroom home for a large family in a homeless situation.
Ongoing Community Involvement Efforts
Colleagues are currently working on publishing a cook book, “Cook Books for Emily”, that will consist of our favorite recipes to raise funds for Emily Linneman, a colleague's daughter who has been battling bone cancer.
During the months of August and September, colleagues are also partnering with Aon Hewitt to support Push for Pencils, sponsored by KidSmart.
Our Global Citizenship Report showcases how Aon empowers results for people and communities at risk. As Aon services clients in over 120 countries, Aon’s role as a corporate citizen is to give back to the communities where we do business.
