Every year, Aon plc commits to a day to come together globally as a firm to serve the communities that we are a part of. On June 15th, Aon Philadelphia had four different projects as a part of Aon’s annual day of service. At the Fairmount Park Conservancy, fifteen colleagues spent the day painting, cleaning and clearing the park. At the Food Trust, twenty five colleagues prepped packets with healthy eating habits and access information to our local farmers’ markets for distribution to those who the Food Trust serves. At Sunday Rescue Mission, sixteen colleagues served dinner to an appreciative group of men and women in Center City Philadelphia. Throughout the day, colleagues who weren’t able to help with the three external projects had the opportunity to write letters to the brave members of the US armed forces, thanking them for all that they do to protect us every day.
