We are proud to announce that 54 Aon brokers and consultants were named Power Brokers, two who are local to the Aon Northeast Ohio team: Chris Ainscough in the Health Care category and Lori DeVore in the Employee Benefits category. Power Broker winner and finalist selections are based on nominations provided by brokers and judged based on references given by clients and risk managers. Judging is based on a nominee's creativity in problem solving, industry knowledge and client service. "The entire Aon organization works hard to create an innovative culture where colleagues have the tools and resources to empower results for clients," said Lori Goltermann, US Retail CEO. "I congratulate all of our colleagues who were honored." To review the complete list of Power Brokers, visit the Risk & Insurance website

Every year, Aon plc commits to a day to come together globally as a firm to serve the communities that we are a part of. On June 15th, nearly the entire Aon Cleveland team spent the day at Citizens Academy Southeast working on a variety of projects indoors and outdoors. Colleagues weeded, planted vegetables and flowers, painted garden boxes, moved classroom furniture, cleaned storage rooms, organized donated uniforms, took inventory of and tagged furniture and painted the inside of the school. We were happy to have spent an entire day with Citizens Academy, which produces learners who exemplify academic excellence and responsible citizenship.
Aon Cleveland recently made a three year commitment to the Women’s Recovery Center and is proud to have been able to present a check to WRC for the amount of our fiscal commitment.
WRC provides addiction treatment, prevention and education programs to women in the Cleveland area. The Capital Campaign , which our funds have been committed to, has a goal of raising $1M to fund the rebuild and remodel of their center located on the near West side of Cleveland.
Visit their website to learn more on the good work that they do to improve the lives of women in greater Cleveland.

"Each year, it is a tremendous honor for Aon's brokers and consultants to be awarded Risk & Insurance's Power Broker designation," said Lori Goltermann, CEO of Aon Risk Solutions U.S. Retail. "We are thrilled to have 56 colleagues recognized with this prestigious award for their work over the past year. A key differentiator for Aon is our people, and to have our colleagues honored with this award is a testament to Aon's Client Promise and the caliber of talent we attract and retain at the firm."
On June 11th, our office had the pleasure of working at the Cleveland Heights Youth Club for a full day of projects and activities. As part of the firm’s global mission, Aon’s company-wide service day provides colleagues with the opportunity to take time off from their work to engage in charitable activities that focus on providing assistance to organizations that empower people and serve communities at risk.
During our day at the Heights Youth Club, nearly our entire office spent the morning with site clean up duties - mulching, trimming and gardening. Following the morning of hard work, we hosted a cookout for the kids, followed by a very empassioned basketball game of our colleagues vs. the kids.
