  • Aon Team Wins Latin Builders Association Award

    Congratulations to our Aon colleagues on winning the Latin Builders Association (LBA) Award for Broker of the Year. The award was presented in at the LBA’s 35th Annual Awards ceremony on September 25, 2105 at the Hilton Downtown Miami.

    Over 500 guests attended the event which was hosted by local journalist, Ellie Rodriguez and included state officials such as Governor Rick Scott and Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera. Representing Aon (from left to right) are Heather Mann (Aon), Sonia Paneque (Aon), Nicole Paneque (Aon), Chris Burton (Aon), Linda LaSalle Burton (Aon), Eric Valderrama (LBA Director / MCM), Matthew Tahbaz (Aon), Rosie Garcia-Gutierrez (Aon) and LBA Junior Director Gabe Guerra (Aon-not pictured).

    Art Basel Miami Beach has upped the glam and glitz of Greater Miami for a couple days each December since 2002. But the fair brings more than just international and domestic visitors to galleries, museums, and popups—it also increases also risk for the art works on display, for the insurers who back each work and for the purchasers taking the works home.

  • LLS Raises $611,000 at Miami Man & Woman of Year Fund raiser

    More than 300 people attended the 2014 Miami Man & Woman of the Year Journey of Hope Gala​ hosted by the Southern Florida and Puerto Rico Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), held June 6, 2014 at the InterContinental Miami Hotel. A total of $611,000​ was raised by all candidates. Michael Parrish, Regional Managing Director of the South Region of Aon, was crowned the Man of the Year.
