Community Involvement

Aon Risk Solutions Houston is fully committed to the communities we serve. Aon colleagues are encouraged to participate in community service projects and contribute time, expertise, and funding to local organizations such as Young Professionals in Energy, The Krause Children’s Center, Interfaith Ministries Meals on Wheels Program, Christo Rey Corporate Internship Program, Rice Energy Finance Summit, and many more. Working together with our clients, we support causes that support the health and well-being of local communities.

2015 Global Service Day

On June 11, thousands of colleagues in more than 40 countries and nearly 150 cities across the globe volunteered in their communities to celebrate Aon's mission to empower economic and human possibility by developing human potential, aiding communities at risk and improving health. The Mike Furrey Foundation

Ryan Joseph Fitzpatrick, former quarterback with the Houston Texans, paid a surprise visit to the Houston office, where he shared many humorous football anecdotes. Through the Aon Foundation, we were able to donate money to a charity of his choice, The Mike Furrey Foundation. After the visit, we had an employee fundraiser, raising an additional $800. Read More

2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

On August 28, 2014, members of Aon's Executive Committee Team took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Over $2,000 was raised for the ALS Southwest Chapter. Read More

2014 Global Service Day

On June 12, 2014, over 80 colleagues and family members from Houston returned to Interfaith Ministries to volunteer with their Meals on Wheels Program. Read More

2015 Aon/Zurich Fundraiser for SBP

On September 22nd Aon Houston and Zurich co-sponsored a fundraising event benefiting the St. Bernard Project (SBP) of New Orleans in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. The Peril, Aon’s house band, provided the entertainment. Read More
